Join the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Youth Choir for Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, a moving work known for its peaceful and contemplative character.
Composed in 1888, Fauré’s Requiem takes a different approach from many settings of the Mass for the Dead. Rather than focusing on judgement and fear, it offers a sense of peace and hope through its lyrical melodies and beautiful passages, including Pie Jesu and In Paradisum.
