SUMMARY:Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem Mass
DESCRIPTION:Join the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Youth Choir for Gabri
el Fauré’s Requiem\, a moving work known for its peaceful and contempla
 tive character.\nComposed in 1888\, Fauré’s Requiem takes a different a
pproach from many settings of the Mass for the Dead. Rather than focusing
on judgement and fear\, it offers a sense of peace and hope through its ly
rical melodies and beautiful passages\, including Pie Jesu and In Paradisu
 m.\n\nAll are welcome to attend.
