The Golden Book of Remembrance provides a meaningful way to honour your loved ones, living and deceased, and connect them to the life of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. With over half a million names inscribed across 17 volumes, it serves as a permanent record of faith, love, and devotion.
For almost a century, donors have chosen this form of remembrance for family, friends, and themselves, while also supporting the ongoing care of the Cathedral.
Each name inscribed in the Golden Book is included in the intention of a Mass offered in the Cathedral on the first Friday of every month. Every donor receives a numbered certificate confirming the enrolment.
