Discover the Cathedral like never before on one of our free guided tours.

Our friendly guides will show you around, bringing its history, art, and architecture to life while sharing the fascinating stories of the people who shaped it.

Guided Tours

Tours can be booked in advance via email or on the day at the Welcome Desk, subject to availability. Group sizes vary and all tours are free, though we suggest a donation of £5 per person to help support the Cathedral.

We run a set guided tour every Saturday at 11:30am, giving you the perfect opportunity to join without needing to book in advance.

Audio Tours

Experience the Cathedral at your own pace with our immersive audio tour. Learn about its history, discover its collection of contemporary art, and enjoy the architecture at your own speed.

The audio tour includes two additional tracks:

Sounds of the Cathedral 
Enjoy a selection of music performed by the Cathedral Choir.

Memories of the Cathedral 
Explore key moments from the Cathedral’s history, from its opening in 1967 to the 1982 Papal Visit, through the voices of those who experienced it first-hand.

Available from the Welcome Desk: 

Monday to Saturday, 10am to 3:30pm.

English, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, and Chinese.

Audio tours are not available during services.
