Beneath the Metropolitan Cathedral lies one of the city’s most remarkable venues: the Lutyens Crypt. Designed in the 1930s by Sir Edwin Lutyens and beautifully restored, it combines historic architecture with modern facilities to create an unforgettable setting.

From concerts and conferences to dinners and receptions, our flexible spaces are full of character and atmosphere. The Crypt is fully accessible throughout, with kitchen facilities, a stage area, licensed bar, and underground parking available on request.
