We extend a warm welcome to The Schola Nova of St Aloysius’ College who will lead the music at this Mass.
The Schola Nova is one of four choirs which form the St Aloysius’ College Schola programme. Choristers join aged 9 and stay in the programme until they leave school. It is the first choral programme of its kind in Glasgow.
The choirs sing for College liturgies and for some Masses in St Aloysius’ church. They have also sung Evensong in St George’s Chapel, Windsor and Morning Worship for BBC Radio 4. The Schola Cantorum are due to sing Mass in St Peter’s Basilica, Rome in February.
