Parish Notices

Talk
Dr Karen Groves is a recently retired palliative care consultant. She will be giving a talk at St. Helen’s Parish Centre, Alexandra Rd., Crosby, on Thursday 21st March at 7.30 pm. “Walking in the Winter of Life.”  This talk will look broadly at what it means to be approaching the end of our lives, what preparations and changes we might want to make to live life to the full to the end, and how we assess and meet the spiritual needs of those who are dying.   There is  free parking in the church car park and no charge for the talk. Everyone is welcome.

The Golden Book
Please note that from Easter each Golden Book entry will be £15 plus postage.  Golden Book entries have been £10 since 1982, and currently we are not covering our costs. We know how much having people’s names inscribed in our Golden Book means to you and we do hope you understand.  Our system is being upgraded and in the future you will be able to make on-line entries which we hope will be convenient to some of you.  Watch this space.
