Father James Claffey OP will be hosting a reading group to discuss Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel) by Pope Francis.
This friendly and informal group aims to help readers reach a clearer understanding of Pope Francis’ first apostolic exhortation, devoted to the theme of the new evangelisation.
Since its launch in 2013, Evangelii Gaudium has been described as everything from “a remarkable and radical document, one that…challenges complacency at every level” to a “Magna Carta for church reform”.
Father James will be discussing how the many themes of the book can be put into action in our everyday lives.
