Immediately following the carol service, the Cathedral will be filled with the extraordinary sounds of Olivier Messiaen’s La Nativité du Seigneur, performed by Cathedral Organist Richard Lea. Composed as nine meditations inspired by the Nativity, mountains, and stained glass windows, this monumental organ work offers a rare opportunity to experience Messiaen’s unique blend of spirituality and musical imagination.
