Students from the University of Liverpool are conferred with their degrees. The ceremonies take place throughout the day so visits to the cathedral are very restricted and the Lutyens Crypt will be closed.
The Crypt Chapel will be open daily for private prayer. Access is via the exterior steps between Cathedral House and the University Foundation Building on the corner of Mount Pleasant & Brownlow Hill.

The Evening Mass at 5.15pm will be celebrated in the Crypt Chapel on these days.
