A congregation of over 2000 gathers in the stillness of the night to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The Mass is led by the Most Rev John Sherington, Archbishop of Liverpool. The choir sings Widor’s Messe à deux chœurs et deux orgues alongside the luscious harmonies of Morten Lauridsen’s O magnum mysterium and the emotion of Adolphe Adam’s ‘O Holy night’.
All are asked to be seated by 11:30pm.
