Immediately following the Carol Service, there will be a performance of Olivier Messiaen’s monumental organ work La Nativité du Seigneur given by Cathedral Organist, Richard Lea.
In composing the nine meditations, Messiaen was inspired by the Nativity narrative, mountains and stained glass windows.
