Join us on a fascinating tour of Liverpool’s Nordic Church and Cultural Centre.
The Scandinavian Seamen’s Church was built in 1884. It was intended for seamen, of course, but also emigrants, of whom there were many thousands passing through the city at that time. Today this beautiful church – which is one of only four octagonal church buildings in the UK – sits at the centre of a vibrant community and hosts many events and services.
The tour will take place on Tuesday 28 March and will include a Scandinavian-style “smorgasbord” lunch.
Tickets are priced at £15 per person. Please email c.hanlon@metcathedral.org.uk for more information.
