The choir of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral is joined by the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra to present a programme of music by Bruckner and Saint-Saëns.
An opportunity to hear the restored grand organ of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral featured in Saint-Saëns’ popular Third Symphony, affectionately known as the ‘Organ Symphony’.
In celebration of Anton Bruckner’s 200th anniversary in 2024, the cathedral choir will sing three of Bruckner’s best-known motets, before combining with the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra and soloists to complete the programme with his mighty Te Deum.
