The choristers of the Metropolitan Cathedral travelled to Ilkley in West Yorkshire this past weekend for a team-building retreat to mark the start of the new academic year.
Based at Nell Bank residential centre, they took part in a series of outdoor group challenges. Although the weather brought torrential rain throughout the day, the choristers showed great determination and teamwork, earning high praise from the centre staff for their hard work and spirit.
On Sunday morning, the choir joined forces with the Leeds Cathedral Choir to sing at the Solemn Mass, before returning to Liverpool under bright blue skies.
