The Gibberd Room, named after the architect of the 1967 Cathedral, Sir Frederick Gibberd, is situated in the lower main porch and is suitable for smaller drinks receptions, meetings, conferences and lectures.
The room can easily be divided into two and there are refreshment facilities with a small kitchen area. Windows at both ends of the room give good light and views of the surroundings. Toilet facilities are nearby as is the car park under the cathedral.
Projection equipment is fitted in the Gibberd Room.
