Join us at the Metropolitan Cathedral in June for events across worship, music, and community activities.

Visit of Fatima Statue & Relics

On Monday 2 June, from 10.00am to 5.00pm, the Cathedral will welcome the Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, along with the Relics of Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto. This visitation is part of a national pilgrimage marking the Centenary Year of the Pontevedra Apparition and the Jubilee of Hope.

Annual Pentecost March

On Sunday 8 June, between 3.00pm and 5.00pm, the Annual Pentecost March will begin at Liverpool Cathedral and proceed through the city to the Metropolitan Cathedral. This event invites participants to reflect on the theme of being Pilgrims of Hope.

Good Shepherd Mass

The Good Shepherd Mass will take place on Wednesday 11 June from 10.30am to 12.00pm. This Mass offers thanks for the fundraising efforts of local schoolchildren who support the Good Shepherd Fund.

One Heart Concert

On Thursday 19 June, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, the One Heart Concert will feature performances by the Asylum Link Choir, Choir with No Name, and students from St Edward’s College and other Edmund Rice schools. The evening will be hosted by author Frank Cottrell-Boyce.

Summer Soirée at The Art School

On Thursday 26 June, between 7.00pm and 10.30pm, the Summer Soirée at The Art School will offer guests a three-course meal with prosecco and an amuse-bouche, prepared by Chef Paul Askew. Tickets are priced at £50 per person. To book, please contact Claire Hanlon at c.hanlon@metcathedral.org.uk.
