We are in the early planning stages of a new Welcome Centre, set to replace the previous coffee shop and gift shop that closed in 2020.
More information about this development will be made available in the coming weeks.
The Cathedral is also hosting several exciting events in September and October:
20 September: The Metropolitan Cathedral will welcome The Sixteen Choral Pilgrimage, featuring music from Orlande de Lassus, Josquin, Casulana, and Bob Chilcott. Find out more here.
21 September: Following the national Adoremus gathering of the previous week, Adoremus Liverpool will offer Eucharistic Adoration, Holy Mass, confession opportunities, workshops, and a shared time of prayer. Click here for more details.

19 October: Enjoy Saint-Saëns’ acclaimed Third Symphony, the ‘Organ Symphony,’ with the cathedral choir performing three of Bruckner’s beloved motets and a powerful rendition of his Te Deum with the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra and soloists. Get your tickets and more information here.
