Fr. Anthony was born in Sierra Leone. He entered the Holy Ghost Order to study for the Priesthood in 2008. He did his seminary formation in Sierra Leone, Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya. He studied theology in Tangaza University College, Nairobi and graduated with B.A. in Sacred Theology, awarded by Urbaniana University, in Rome and Masters of Arts degree, in Mission Theology, awarded by Duquesne University College, USA, respectively. Within this same period, he did a Certificate course in Marriage, Family and Pastoral Ministry from Pope St. John Paul II, Institute, Nairobi, Kenya. He was ordained to the Priesthood in 2017. He worked in Sierra Leone and The Gambia, in Parish, Youth and School ministries.
Fr. Anthony has also worked with REVIVE-CIO, UK, a charity organisation established by the Holy Ghost Fathers, in Manchester, Salford Diocese, where he gave pastoral care and supported Asylum seekers and Refugees, with Immigration Advise and Social Work.
Prior to his seminary formation, he attended Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, and graduated with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and History. He is also a graduate from Longford College, Ireland, with a Masters of Science Degree, in Education, Leadership and Management. He has great compassion for people, loves team work and shows total dedication and commitment to his responsibilities. He was appointed by Archbishop Malcolm to assist at the Cathedral and hospital chaplaincy, in 2024.
