During the St Bernadette’s relics tour, the Cathedral will be celebrating Mass with anointing of the sick on Sunday 18 September at 3pm.
The Sacrament of anointing of the sick is administered to individuals who are seriously ill and we want to ensure that everyone who would like to be anointed is known to clergy so nobody will miss out.
We would therefore ask any sick person wanting to be anointed to let us know in advance that they will be attending by either emailing Claire Hanlon on c.hanlon@metcathedral.org.uk or ringing 0151 709 9222 ext. 201 (please leave a voicemail if Claire is unavailable) by Monday 12 September.
Please make yourself known at the welcome desk when you arrive at the Cathedral and you will be directed to your seat. Although Covid restrictions have been lifted in the Cathedral there will be a block designated for those who wish to socially distance.
